The Precision Rifle training class covers topics needed effectively shoot mid to long ranges. The class will cover equipment selection, external ballistics, range estimation, environmental conditions, and angular units of measure. If you are looking to make ethical shots on game at extended ranges, or just enjoy shooting targets at long range this class will cover all the information necessary. The second day of the Precision Rifle With Elevated Shooting course is spent in our 135 foot / 10 floor elevated shooting tower that gives our students the opportunity to learn to shoot from high angles.

Note: In order to attend the 2nd day of this course you must be able to climb the multiple floors of stairs in order to reach the top of the tower, and not be afraid of heights as the shots will taken from the edge of the building.

Description

The Precision Rifle with Elevated Shooting class duration will be 16 hours of two days 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

All courses are delivered at GTI’s Joint Operations Center 1321 Technology Drive, Barnwell, SC 29812.

All students will be required to provide the following equipment at the time of the class:

    • Precision Rifle with adjustable turret scope, bipod and sling.
    • 200 Rounds of quality ammunition that is appropriate for your firearm.
    • Eye Protection
    • Ear Protection – Ear muffs or ear plugs. It is highly recommended to use both!
    • All students must have proper footwear (I.E. tennis shoes, boots).
      • Open toed footwear is not allowed for safety reasons.
    • Comfortable pants or shorts may be worn.
      • Skirts or dresses are not allowed.
    • Appropriate weather protection (I.E. hat, sunscreen, jacket)
    • Weapon cleaning supplies
    • Note taking equipment
    • Hydration system

If available students should provide the following equipment at the time of the class:

  • Shooting Mat
  • Spotting Scope
  • Binoculars
  • Wind Meter
  • Range Finder
  • Ballistic Calculator (add the app to your phone)
  • Alternate shooting support (i.e. back pack, tri pod, shooting sticks, shooting bags etc.)

Lodging Cancellation / Refund Policy; If the decision to cancel a lodging booking is made by:

  • GTI a full refund will be given to the customer.
  • The Event Host, the customer will be charged a fee not to exceed 10% and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • The Customer, prior to 24 hours of scheduled arrival, they will be charged a fee not to exceed 10% and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • The Customer, within 24 hours of scheduled arrival, they will be charged for a full nights and the remaining balance will be refunded.

For product order cancellations that have not shipped there will be a 10% service fee.

For product order cancellations that have already shipped there will be a 75% refund after product has been returned in its original condition.

Training Course Cancellation / Refund Policy; If the decision to cancel a Training Course is made by:

  • GTI a full refund will be given to the customer.
  • The Customer, prior to 24 hours of scheduled delivery, they will be charged a fee not to exceed 25% and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • The Customer, within 24 hours of scheduled delivery, they will be charged a fee not to exceed 50% and the remaining balance will be refunded.

For most cancellation situations GTI is willing to extend a credit for the full purchase amount towards other products or future lodging / training bookings.

The Defensive Vehicle Tactics class has been developed to address some of the issues and tactics associated with firing a weapon from a vehicle for self-defense. The class discusses some of the unique concerns such as shooting from a restricted space and shooting through glass. Also covered are tactics to maximize one's safety if involved in a life or death confrontation by using a vehicle for protection. This will cover shooting techniques over, under, and around vehicles.

Gunfighter Training Pistol Phase 1
The Gunfighter Pistol Training Phase 1 course will provide the shooter with the necessary skills to be proficient in the successful operation of a pistol.
